A-4K 　　1/72 エッシー　１９９０年１２月２５日完成


This is a ESCI's A-4 Skyhawk. Its panel lines are engraved on fuselage, but raised on the wing.

The width of cockpit is narrow a little. It's not so big problem. The flaps and airbrakes are fixed.

This marking is 80's New Zealand Air Force. This SEA scheme for A-4 is unique.

I added the drag chute pod under jet nozzle. The tip of vertical fin was reshaped squarely.

I used the Micro Scale Decal for this model. It has very nice quality but the paint guide sheet is too poor.


ニュージーランド空軍のスカイホークで、角張った垂直尾翼とドラッグシュート装備、ハンプバッグ上の
アンテナが特徴です。　現在、ニュージーランド空軍は一切の戦術機を放棄しており、このスカイホークが
最後の戦闘機になりました。
　キットはエッシーのもので、胴体のパネルラインはスジボリですが主翼は凸ラインでモールドされている
変則的なキットです。　　また、機首幅が狭いのも欠点ですが修正はしていません。　　
　当時このベトナム迷彩のスカイホークは作ってみたい機体でした。　そこでマイクロスケールデカール
を入手し、着工となったものです。　　それだけに完成時の喜びは大きく、勢いでシンガポール空軍機にも
着手しました。
